Swim between the flags

This is Rob. Rob has worked at the Main Beach, Gold Coast Surf Life Saving Club for 20 years.

We got chatting to Rob and he just LOVES his job. He is out in the sun 5 days a week looking after punters on the beach, helping people out, offering us suncream ( Liz obviously) and saving lives … He was kind enough to showcase our newest design Swim Between the Flags in all its glory.

Our favourite Rob quote of the day … ‘ Everyone is equal on the beach’.

Swim between the flags is $29.

Fred and his boards

Susie Everingham has a twin, his name is Andrew, but she was always called him Fred. So I (Liz) have always called him Fred as well.

Fred is an amazing man, singer, teacher, father and also a seriously talented woodworker.

He has been making us some beautiful Tassie Oak boards for some time, which we like to call FRED BOARDS!  They sold out at the Pop Up  last year, so we asked him to knock up a new batch for us this  years event. We went around to his wood working studio today to collect  a new batch (which are a new shape…) to take along to the Pop Up. The studio smelt of bees wax, cut wood and oil!

The new shapes will be unveiled at the Pop Up from the 15 Nov – 1 Dec.
